BioI am a science geek. Mostly math, then physics, astronomy, and a bit of every other hard science thrown in there. I'm also into science fiction and fantasy books, video games, RPGs, and a few TV shows.
Contrary to how it may sound, I have some social skills, but only a few. ^_~
Actually, I'm an academic in general. I enjoy languages, philosophy, psychology, and cultural studies. Just about the only thing I don't like is being told my opinions are invalid because the other person/teacher has a different opinion .. which meant most of high school history and english classes.
I enjoy juggling stixs. It's a bit different than the norm of poi and staff I see at Burning Man.
I'm really good at predicting how things are going to turn out. Books and movies are the easiest/hardest. Easiest because there are certain plot developments and twists that are pretty standard. Hardest because the author can always decide to scrap the plot and go off in another direction. I've nearly sent a couple of GM's into apoplectic fits as I do to their complicated plots what Alexander did to the Gordian knot.
I got my screen name from one of my friends because I have a knack for making friends even with cats that are normally anti-social. I haven't met a cat I didn't get along with, but I have met several I'm allergic to.
